Finding of Sufficient Instructional Materials
Notice is hereby given that the Roseville City School District Board of Education will hold a public hearing to determine whether each pupil, including English Learners, who are enrolled in the same course in the District schools, has a textbook or instructional materials, or both, to use in class or to take home, that are aligned to the academic content standards in history-social science, reading/language arts, science and mathematics and are consistent with the content and cycles of the curriculum frameworks adopted by the State Board of Education.
The Governing Board encourages participation at the hearing by parents, teachers, bargaining unit leaders, and members of the community interested in the affairs of the school district.
The hearing will be held during the Roseville City School District Board Meeting, in the George Linsley Board Room, located at 1050 Main Street, Roseville, California, on September 12, 2024, beginning at 6:00 p.m. Immediately following, the Board will take action on a resolution on the sufficiency of textbooks or instructional materials for pupils in the District.
